Photographer with a dream
Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Chelsea and I am a professional photographer in the Pacific North West. This is my first website since around 2016. After graduating from Seattle Central Creative Academy in 2014, I pursued almost exclusively boudoir photography. In 2016 I launched my first boudoir brand Blush and Bloom Boudoir. I shot under that name for a few years before leaving retail boudoir and becoming an independent contractor with a media company. From 2018 until the end of 2022, I worked within that agency, shooting exclusively for publication and earning photo spreads and magazine covers internationally. At the beginning of 2023, I decided I didn’t want to continue pursuing being an independent contractor. While I loved my work during that time, I was shooting for the visions of others rather than shooting my own visions and I got to a point in my career where I didn’t want to keep doing that. It was time for a change.
I decided I wanted to dive into the type of photography that tells a story. Images that inspire. Images with artistic flare. I have always been fascinated with the story telling aspect of photography and I was so excited to start pursuing being an artist with a camera. In June 2023, I released my first art book called Pacific North West Fairytale. I self published the book on Amazon and I was really proud of that at the time. But over the last year, I have really wanted to take it a step further. I didn’t just want to make art books, I wanted a whole print shop full of products with my art on them. So I have spent the last year creating my second art book Pacific North West Wonderland and exploring new ways to sell my photos. Thanks to Squarespace and Gelato, I can now cut out publishing via Amazon and sell my art directly from my very own website and print shop. As of right now, I only have my most recent book Pacific North West Wonderland available but I will be adding my other book as well as adding other products like calendars, prints, and post cards.
